I’m a Recruitment Marketer and I help recruitment agencies and companies attract the right candidates to their roles through digital marketing and online advertising, including the use of social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. I also thoroughly enjoy the social media management and sourcing side of recruitment. I have over 20 years’ experience working in the recruitment industry in South Africa and the UK.

My career started in London in 2002 when I was offered a permanent role to become part of one of the best teams I’ve ever worked with, at Tribal. This is where I started falling in love with recruitment communications.

Six years later I returned to Cape Town and started working as a recruitment agent, but realised I was much more comfortable rather assisting recruiters and HR managers with their Recruitment Marketing. I began working for a small Recruitment Marketing company where I stayed for seven years before I decided to take the leap and become a freelancer.

Today, after almost 8 years of working for myself, recruitment still makes me happy and I’m loving working freelance.
