I’m a Recruitment Marketer, and I help recruitment agencies and companies attract the right candidates to their roles through digital marketing and online advertising, including social platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter). I also thoroughly enjoy the social media management and sourcing side of recruitment. I have over 23 years’ experience working in the recruitment industry in South Africa and the UK.

My career started in London in 2002, when I was offered a permanent role with Tribal, joining one of the best teams I’ve ever worked with. This is where I started falling in love with recruitment communications.

Six years later, I returned to Cape Town and started working as a recruitment agent, but realised I was much more comfortable assisting recruiters and HR managers with their Recruitment Marketing. I began working for a small Recruitment Marketing company, where I stayed for 7 years before deciding to take the leap and become a freelancer.

Today, after almost 10 years of working for myself, recruitment still makes me happy, and I’m loving working as a freelancer.
